Symon Stamm

Director and Licenced Cadastral Surveyor

Symon has been surveying in the Bay of Plenty for the last 40 years and formed Stamm Surveys in 1997. Since then Stamm Surveys Ltd has expanded, and completed numerous projects throughout the Bay of Plenty region, with a focus being work within the Rotorua District. Outside of work Symon can be found spending time with family or volunteering within the community. He enjoys the opportunity to get out on the water with his hand on the tiller and wind in the sails.

Bonnie Tuíuli-Stamm

Director

Symon’s wife Bonnie joined the company in 2005 and has been co-director with Symon since then. As well as contributing in strategic decisions Bonnie employs her natural talent as encourager and helps in staff events and administration. Bonnie has other work, spends time volunteering within the community, and also enjoys sailing.

Liz Sharp

Office and Project Manager

Liz brings with her 20+ years of management and leadership experience with an eye for detail, strong organisational and administrative skills. Is married with an adult family. Enjoys the outdoors tramping, walking, DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends.
Locally raised and knows her community and the area well you will find her in the office as well as out in the field. Liz is very hands on and looks forward to assisting you with enquiries and projects.

Neville Sharp

Senior Survey Technician

Neville brings a total of some 25 years surveying experience mostly in the Bay of Plenty. His early
employment was as a Survey Draftsman, Engineering Technician and Survey Technician with Dept
Lands and Survey, Ministry of Works and Development here in Rotorua. Further experience was gained
with Seaton, Sladden & Pavitt in Wellington followed by an overseas contract with Land Surveys Egypt.
More recently he has worked for Stratum Consultants Rotorua for 9 years, Barr Harris Surveyors
Matamata for 2 years and Stamm Surveys intermittently over a period of 6 years.
Locally raised he is married with an adult family and is a keen outdoors person enjoying walking, biking,
football and spending time with family and friends.

JOHN KILPATRICK

SURVEY TECHNICIAN

New to the team in 2021, John brings experience from 17 years in Operations Management. He began overseeing staff in wholesale warehousing, logistics, and more recently the courier industry, where he was service delivery manager of a large team. John has had a desire to be a surveyor for a long time and is now fulfilling that quest with passion.
He enjoys a variety of work and aspires to increase his qualifications and become a fully Licensed Cadastral Surveyor. Stamm Surveys actively encourages this, and John is sure to excel in this environment. John’s previous management and business development experience will be a great asset to Stamm Surveys Ltd.
John is married with two sons and likes to get outside and push play with his young family.

Phil joined the company in 2003 and now contracts when needed as a field assistant, and drafting scheme plans and LT plans in LandonLine

Stamm Surveys is proud to be affiliated with all New Zealand professional bodies and organisations, and we ensure that regular training and professional development is undertaken to keep in check with current legislation and best practices.

Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS)

All surveyors who complete legal boundary surveys in New Zealand must by law be Licensed Cadastral Surveyors. This license must be renewed yearly and is controlled by a New Zealand Government Board. The license replaced the old ‘Registered Surveyor’ title.


Member of the NZ Institute of Surveyors (MNZIS)
